Mandarin Square Capturing for ages 6+: Unlimited varied rounds for two kids. Play free right in the browser, no account or install needed.
Mandarin Square Capturing (Ô ăn quan) is the Vietnamese schoolyard game usually drawn in chalk, rebuilt here for two children on one device. The board has ten seed pits and a Mandarin pit at each end. On a turn, tap a filled pit on your own row and pick a direction; the board lifts every seed from it and drops one into each pit that follows, picking up and sowing onward whenever the next pit is filled. If an empty pit follows the last seed, you capture everything in the pit after that — and captures can chain. A seed scores one point and a Mandarin ten, and the higher score wins. It is counting and forward planning in one game.
