Flip for Treasure for ages 5+: Two kids side by side: chests +1, monsters −1, highest score wins. Play free right in the browser, no account or install needed.
Flip for Treasure borrows the neighbour-counting idea from Minesweeper but removes losing entirely: no cell ever ends a child’s game. Two players sit side by side and take turns, flipping exactly one covered cell each turn. An ordinary cell shows how many monsters sit around it, and that number is the clue for the next guess; a gold chest is worth +1 and a monster −1. The round ends the moment every chest and monster has been found, and the higher score wins. It is deduction from numbers, and because both players share one side of the screen they can study the same board and talk it through.
