Magic Color Mixing teaches colour by having children make it. The card on the left is the colour to reach, the bowl on the right starts empty, and tapping a paint pot adds one drop. Red and yellow make orange, yellow and blue make green, and from level eleven a white pot and a black pot arrive for lighter and darker shades. Compare the bowl against the card and tap the check; if it is not right yet, the game says whether yours is darker or lighter, and the bowl can be emptied and tried again. Thirty levels of four colours each, needing more drops and finer proportions as they go. Kids learn the secondary colours and, along the way, the idea of tint and shade.
